A look at some of the homes, gardens and businesses we’ve worked on across Melbourne, from award-winning garden lighting and smart homes to designer pendants, alfresco kitchens and commercial fit-outs. Each project has photos and the story behind the work.
Award-winning garden lighting
Automated lighting for Ohana, a silver-medal garden at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.
Smart homes
Lights, blinds, gates, pool pumps and heating controlled from a phone, like this Templestowe smart home.
Commercial work
Industrial-style lighting, backlit signage and wireless AV for Biba Academy in Fitzroy.
Copper spike lights uplighting the trees, festoons over the fire pit, and automated lighting the owner controls from his phone, for a country garden that comes alive after dark.
Two Big Ass Fans Haiku ceiling fans for a beach house on Frankston Beach. They give quiet, steady airflow in the living room and bedroom that works with the ocean breeze.
A cascade of lampshade pendants over the staircase, a crystal chandelier at the entrance and glass globe pendants in the waiting corner, giving this Kew salon warm, memorable lighting.
LED upgrades, automated garden and pool lighting, and a network overhaul for a solid brick Hawthorn home, with wireless switches where cabling wasn’t possible.
Bronze wall lights around the pool, a Big Ass Fans ceiling fan and wireless audio in the alfresco pavilion, all controlled from the owners’ phones. A collaboration with The Pool Company.
A fan, heat panels, an outdoor kitchen, AV, and garden and pool lighting for a modern East Brighton outdoor living space, all integrated with automation. A collaboration with The Garden Company.
Industrial-style festoon and LED lighting, backlit window signage and wireless AV in the training rooms for Biba Academy, an award-winning Fitzroy hair salon.
LED strip lighting under the pool seating, pond lights in the pool trough, copper lights on feature trees and sculpture, and festoons over the dining area. Plenty of light without losing the mood.
A digital lock, app-controlled garage access, remote heating and lighting control, and security monitoring for a Mornington Peninsula holiday home. Easier for guests, and peace of mind for the owner.
A 4-acre Mornington Peninsula property with a copper-lit winding driveway, garden lighting that follows the sunset, and lights that come on when the gate opens, all controlled from a phone.
App control of lights, blinds, the pool pump and garden lighting, plus keyless entry, a home theatre and LED downlight upgrades, for a Templestowe client who loves technology.
Automated copper garden lighting and LED stair lighting for Ohana, the silver-medal garden at the 2016 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.
Colourful designer pendants, a Big Ass Fans ceiling fan and LED outdoor lighting for a young family’s Thornbury home, later turned into a smart home with automated lighting and appliances.
We often work alongside landscape designers, landscapers and pool builders, including Georgia Harper Landscape Design, The Garden Company, The Pool Company, Swimple and Jamie Clapham Landscapes. If you’re planning a garden, pool or renovation, we’re happy to join the planning early so the lighting and electrical fit the design.
