Every Light, and the Blinds, From His Phone
Our client loves technology, so he was excited to hear he could control his lights and some appliances from his phone. Now every indoor light, from the LED downlights to the pendants, can be controlled from his phone or iPad.
We also connected the electric blinds, so the family can open and close them from anywhere. Best of all, the blinds close automatically when the hot afternoon sun hits that side of the house, keeping it cooler without anyone lifting a finger.
We also changed all the downlights over to efficient, dimmable LEDs.

Garden Lights and Pool Pump, Controlled From Anywhere
Outside, copper garden lights feature the plants and trees, and wall lights light the paths and steps. The garden lighting is connected to the automation, so the client can switch it on or off from his phone, from anywhere in the world.
The pool pump is connected too, so it can be turned on, off or scheduled from his phone, with no trips out to the pool equipment.

Keyless Entry With Notifications
Home security was another part of the job. We installed a keypad door lock, so the family never needs a key, and the client can get notifications on his phone when someone comes or goes.

A Home Theatre for the Family
We installed a home theatre with in-ceiling speakers, a new TV point and a large-screen TV, so the family can enjoy movie nights with proper surround sound, without speakers and cables cluttering the room.
Watch: Home Automation in Action
We made a short video after finishing this project, showing how the client uses his smart home day to day.
