Bronze Wall Lights That Make the Pool Glow
We always enjoy working with The Pool Company, and lighting up a beautifully designed and crafted space like this one is a real pleasure.
The pool and alfresco area sit across a split-level backyard. The owners wanted a practical, comfortable and well-lit outdoor space they could use in all weather. Around the pool, we installed solid bronze wall lights that wash the walls and water with a warm glow at night, without glare.
An Alfresco Pavilion for Every Season
The alfresco pavilion has LED downlights for the dining table and outdoor kitchen, and a Big Ass Fans ceiling fan to keep things comfortable on hot summer evenings.
We also installed wireless audio, so the owners can play music in the pavilion and by the pool straight from their phones.
All Wireless, and Controlled From a Phone
All of the lighting and audio is connected with wireless automation, so the owners can control everything from their phone, from anywhere on the property or away from home.
Going wireless also meant we didn’t need to run control cables all the way back to the house from the pool and pavilion, which kept the job simpler and avoided disturbing the new landscaping.
On this job we used Environexus automation. Today we’d usually use Shelly smart controls, which can also switch the lights on at sunset and link to the rest of the home.
